The A&R who signed me messaged me at two in the morning

It started as feedback on demos and moved, over about four months, into messages at two in the morning that were not about music. . When I stopped replying quickly, the feedback got colder.

I have screenshots of all of it. I have never sent them anywhere, because he still runs a department and I am twenty-six and I would like to have a career at thirty.
