Terms of use

Short, because a platform built on trust should not hide its rules in nine thousand words.

What the record is

Artists Against publishes first-person testimony submitted anonymously. Stories are personal accounts, not verified findings of fact, and should be read as such. Nothing here is legal advice.

What you agree to when you submit

  • The story is yours, and it is true as far as you know.
  • You have removed names and personal information about other people.
  • You give us permission to publish it, edit it lightly for safety and clarity, and keep it on the record until you ask us to remove it.
  • You keep every other right to your own words, including the right to publish them anywhere else.

What we agree to

  • We never publish your legal name, because we never asked for it.
  • We review every submission before publication.
  • We remove your story on request, without asking why.
  • We never sell contributor data. There is no circumstance in which this changes.

Moderation

We may decline, edit or remove any submission that breaches the submission guidelines, exposes a contributor to risk, or names an identifiable person or company. Reported stories are reviewed by a person.

Liability

The record is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artists Against is not liable for how third parties interpret, reproduce or act on published testimony.
