I signed away an accident for six weeks of wages

A truss came down during load-out. I was lucky: a broken wrist and a badly torn shoulder. The production company settled quickly, informally, and the paperwork included a confidentiality clause I did not have a lawyer read.

The money covered six weeks of lost work and my physiotherapy. It also means the only thing I can say publicly about the rigging that night is nothing.
