They own a record nobody will ever hear

We delivered eleven tracks. The A&R who signed us left three weeks later, and the person who inherited the roster had no interest in a record he had not chosen. It was never rejected. It was simply never scheduled.

Under the agreement those masters are theirs, and the re-recording restriction runs for years past the term. So the record exists, it is finished, and legally the only thing I can do with it is wait.
